Viveport launches NFT marketplace Vive Bytes next Month
As part of the inaugural event for the sale of virtual paintings, exclusive content from the online exhibition “Step into the Art of Cats” will be presented.
HTC today announced the upcoming launch of Vive Bytes, a new marketplace specializing in themed NFTs from anime, cartoons and games (ACG), which will soon appear on its Viveport VR content platform. Opening next month to the general public, visitors will be able to purchase exclusive NFT and “secret NFT boxes” using modern fiat money and cryptocurrencies.
As part of the first sale event, exclusive NFTs from the recent online exhibition Step into Cat Art, which was held at Viveport, will be presented. Visitors will have the opportunity to receive their own 2D and 3D CAT ART works created by the famous Japanese artist Shu Yamamoto, including the ceiling painting “Hisstin Chapel”.
Everyone who purchases 2D CART ART will get a chance to purchase limited 3D CAT ART NFT models over the next weeks. “NFTs are changing our understanding of identity and ownership, and VIVE BYTES is at the forefront of unlocking the potential of creative works and making digital works more accessible to consumers and creators,” said Joseph Lin, CEO of Viveport.
“After launching the world’s first online Cat Art exhibition with our partners last year, we are introducing new NFTs CAT ART formats that allow visitors to expand and diversify their collection of digital works.”
At the start, visitors will be able to purchase NFT through direct purchases and secret boxes using their MetaMask wallets. According to HTC, an official auction system is also under development.
