LG Virtual Ride Exercise Bike for Fitness
A subsidiary of LG Display recently introduced LG Virtual Ride, a new generation stationary exercise bike designed to immerse riders in the atmosphere of training. The fitness device is placed indoors, and is equipped with three curved vertical 55-inch OLED displays that create a presence effect. The curvature of the screen has a radius of 1500R and built-in Cinematic Sound OLED (CSO) technology, promising an exciting visual experience. The bike is a standard Ciclotte exercise bike with a futuristic “round shape” that perfectly complements the fantastic displays from LG. While cycling, the screen displays: distance, speed, altitude above sea level, etc.
LG Virtual Ride will be demonstrated at this year’s CES, which will be held from January 5-8 in Las Vegas. LG Virtual Ride is not a virtual reality headset per se, but is another example of technology used to immerse users in digital fitness, which is difficult to reproduce in real conditions.
Perhaps these examples of concepts will be integrated with ready-made Meta products, we will give more detailed information after the official announcement at CES.
