NBA Replaced LeBron James with a VR Player
The other day, the head of the NBA Adam Silver showed a funny technology.
Silver scanned the guy from the audience (in fact, it turned out to be a famous commentator and football player) using a smartphone. And right on the stage, I integrated his avatar into the broadcast. As a result, it turned out as if this guy scored a dunk.
The NBA is ahead of all sports in terms of technology and marketing. And mechanics is interesting because sports is far from the only area where you want to put yourself in the place of the main character.
Basketball fans will soon be able to feel like LeBron James.
