HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition will be released in May

Today, HP announced that the HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition will be available for purchase in May at a price starting from $ 1,249.  The professional-level HP virtual reality headset, first introduced back in September 2020, offers many improvements over the basic G2, including a Tobii eye and pupil tracking sensor, a heart rate sensor and an internal camera for face tracking. These new features track everything completely:  from the movements of the facial muscles and pulse, to your gaze and the size of the pupils. Eye tracking technology also allows you to use selective rendering – a resource-saving method in which only the area that the player is looking at is fully displayed.

These new features can be used by developers in both Unreal Engine and Unity to create “hyper-personalized” training solutions for various types of professional activities. Together with the HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition, a new update of the Omnicept SDK will be released, introducing spatial sound based on machine learning.

The HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition will be available for purchase next month starting at $ 1,249. However, the Omnicept SDK will be free with the possibility of updating for different tasks.

The headset from HP brought a lot of cool emotions to users around the world. Users got a crystal clear image , cool design and convenience for immersion and an affordable price. which competes with many devices of this class.
