AmazeVR concerts receive $ 15 million more funding
The organizer of virtual concerts AmazeVR has just closed a round of funding of 15 million dollars that will use to expand staff and improve the technology with which they broadcast performances of real singers on digital stages full of special effects.
You need to experience our VR concerts to get a fair idea of how impactful they are. Thanks to our technology, we can evoke a real sense of presence that is not achieved on a screen, the feeling that your favorite artist is right there, face to face with you” says AmazeVR co-CEO Ernest Lee
The company has offices in Los Angeles and Seoul, and with the money raised they will continue the” aggressive ” talent recruitment policy that began in 2021, a year that tripled its number of employees. Among his most recent signings are creatives with experience working for musicians such as Kanye and Cardi B, marketing experts from Live Nation or engineers from Nvidia.
The concerts of AmazeVR, created with Unreal Engine, are projected in cinemas and are also distributed through VR content platforms. In spring 2022 they will premiere the show they have designed for rapper Megan Thee Stallion, whose theme Savage was the Best Rap Song of 2021 at the Grammy Awards.
